The engineer jacket is based on the coverall design, and was originally created for factory workers. Unlike outdoor workers, they didn't need a collar to protect them from the wind as they worked inside the factory, so the jacket sports a very cool collarless design with a shallow V-neck. The short length of the garment is thought to be due to it often being used for for sitting and sedentary work situations. The design is also suitable for casual wear like a cardigan, but we'd like to suggest a sophisticated worker style set up with the Duke Denim. This time around, the lineup is made of our standard 13.7oz denim.
